Tell us a bit about your business, what do you do, where do you do it, and how long have you been doing it for?

“Pitts Place Restaurant at 81 Fillmore Street. We’ve been here since 2015, and we specialize in BBQ! We do oxtail, baked chicken, cheesesteaks, collared greens, mac and cheese, candied yams, and more. You can check out the full menu on our Facebook page or Google.”

Why did you start your business?

“I started it with my son so we could do something together. We saw this space and liked it and just went for it! I think we’re a great fit for this place and have fallen in love with the people in the neighborhood.”

If customers could only get one dish/order from you, what would you recommend?

“Chicken wings! Fish and oxtails are a close second.”

What is one thing about your business that makes it special?

“Family. I work with all my family, we love right on site, and we love it.”

Is there anything else you’d like to share about your business?

“I just like to see people happy with their food. That’s one of the best parts about this job.”
